Current Traffic Impacts

Traffic Impacts for Friday, May 9, 2008
- At 7:30 a.m. the westbound I-64 exit ramp to Laclede Station Road
will be closed approximately three to four weeks for utility relocation
work.
- From 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. watch for flaggers and trucks crossing the southbound I-170 exit to Eager Road.
- From 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.the ramps from eastbound I-64 to
northbound Hampton Avenue and from southbound Hampton to eastbound I-64
will be closed. Expect various lane closures on Hampton Avenue at I-64
throughout the day.
- At 9:00 p.m. one lane of Clayton Road will be closed in each direction at I-64.
- From 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Clayton Road will be closed at I-64.
On-going Traffic Impacts
- All lanes of I-64 are closed in both directions between Ballas Road and I-170.
- Access
from Eager Road to northbound I-170 is closed. Take Brentwood Boulevard
to the Galleria Parkway to access northbound I-170.
- Access to
The Promenade shopping center from southbound I-170 is closed, although
The Promenade is accessible from Eager Road at the traffic signal a
short distance east of I-170.
- The northbound I-170 exit
ramp to Galleria Parkway and the entrance ramp from Galleria Parkway to
southbound I-170 have been closed permanently.
- Both the
southbound and northbound Hanley Road ramps to westbound I-64 are
closed. These ramps will remain closed until late 2009.
- Kingshighway Boulevard is restricted to two lanes in each direction between Oakland Avenue and Hospital Plaza.
- The
Boland Place and Highland Terrace bridges are closed for reconstruction
and are scheduled to reopen in the spring. The Bellevue Avenue bridge
and its eastbound exit and westbound entrance ramps have reopened.
- The eastbound I-64 entrance ramp at Laclede Station Road has been closed permanently.
- The McKnight Road bridge is closed until late May.
Pedestrian Access
- Safe
pedestrian access through construction sites will be maintained
wherever possible, and currently is restricted at only two locations-
at Brentwood and Kingshighway Boulevard. Pedestrians should cross
through the work areas along the west side of Brentwood Boulevard and
along the west side of Kingshighway.
